The dissemination of information through the web and social networks has allows broad participation in knowledge but, often, is an uncritical and irresponsible participation (Ariemma, 2016; Buonauro & Domenici, 2020). The educational institution represents the place in which to live the first experiences of citizenship through the discovery of the other and his needs, the exercise of dialogue and the recognition of equal rights and duties for all (MIUR, 2018). With L. 92/2019 it is possible to highlight the evolution of the concept of citizenship in digital citizenship (Baganto, 2022): that underlines the key role that technologies play today (Fabbri & Soriani, 2021). Based on these premises, a questionnaire on the theme of digital citizenship was created and validated: the aim of the paper is to present an analysis of the data of survey, addressed teachers and future teachers, in order to plan meetings aimed at developing a greater awareness of the interweaving between digital competence and active citizenship.
