Experimenting with co-teaching: collaborating to include

Abstract:

School should be an environment where every student has the opportunity to grow and reach their highest potential through an educational experience that respects and values diversity. This requires an active engagement on the part of the school community in creating a welcoming climate and implementing inclusive pedagogical practices that take into account the needs of all students. An inclusive school is a community in which professionals translate the values affirmed into teaching practices that are aimed at all pupils, without exception, so that the educational experience can be configured for each pupil as an opportunity for personal growth and development of skills. The contribution presents a methodology aimed at the implementation of school inclusion as a community element in order to develop concrete inclusive teaching practices that allow the collection, evaluation, monitoring and sharing of co-constructed actions.
