Initial and ongoing training in generational coexistence in the time of new virtual realities

Abstract:

This work aims to attract attention to the phenomenon of the current condition of generational coexistence within the hyper-technological era and intertwined with the concept of liquidity and social uncertainty. The unstoppable spread of algorithms and the profound changes in the use of means of communication and educational strategies, today entrusted to devices and new digital languages, highlight the need to develop the discussion on the relationship between education and artificial intelligence and the metaverse. The training category, considering the numerous needs, appears to be the most suitable area, capable of highlighting the growing generational gap and capable of studying the progressive need to personalize educational processes. The insistent appearance of artificial intelligence has called the individual to take charge and take care of their own educational evolution and to take on the task of existentially reclaiming their identity. For this reason, considering this panorama, we want to pose the hypothesis of a possible pedagogical action aimed at educating the desires and impulses of the youngest and satisfying the needs of the more mature in view of the difficult but conceivable coexistence of generations in the use of new realities, still in current imbalance. More current educational research is needed that can respond to the demand for initial and ongoing training needs to plan an innovative pedagogical approach that guides and educates the impulses and talents of young people, so that they can coexist with every age, all immersed in the ultra-dimensional, so that they know how to manage an acceptable balance between the three worlds, "virtual", "augmented" and "immersive".
