Innovative teaching and inclusive pedagogy. The experience of students in the School of Relations and Responsibility

The paper presents the results of a first exploratory survey on an innovative teaching project, created on the initiative of some teachers interested in practicing formative and orienting assessment with strength and continuity, as well as inclusive pedagogical methodologies. The project – “The School of Relations and Responsibility” - active in the Liceo Morgagni in Rome since the academic year 2016/2017 - aims to encourage the development of students’ personal and social skills, in a calm and non-judgmental context in which to acquire the disciplinary knowledge required by the curriculum, facing the school path with greater motivation, autonomy and a sense of responsibility. After an introduction to the project in progress, the contribution illustrates the results of a thematic analysis conducted on six interviews with the first graduate students of the experimental section, presenting their educational experiences.
