Praise of ambiguity

Abstract

The relationship between the individual and the organization in the productive sphere express a very high level of complexity, in many respects superior to that relating to the multidimensional relationship between the individual and society. In fact, the impact that the work organization, with its structures and its formal mechanisms of coordination and control, exerts on the individual a decisive impact with respect to his needs to confirm his abilities and its evolutionary potential. An approach that is predominantly if not exclusively linked to the organizational science of an engineering nature, deprives the analysis of its densities and its riches. Instead, the proposed reflections are intended to enhance the adoption of multi-faceted interpretative keys that are more closely related to the sciences of the spirit, in an attempt to discern a plot that, however feeble, allows a plausible description of the individual's story in one of the most significant areas of its existence.
