A university department of social
sciences engaged in a collective reflection on the distance learning experience
during the Covid-19 emergency. Before the university decided, it chose the way
of pluralism of digital solutions in favor of the continuity of teaching. The
article discusses the first results of a survey that involved students (with an
online questionnaire) and teachers (through in-depth interviews). The aim was
to focus on emerging issues, explore teaching strategies and the degree of
innovation of teaching practices, detect the first assessments of the
effectiveness of the digital platforms used and stimulate reflections on the
effects of the emergency on the possible reconfiguration of teaching.
